Timoleon and the Third Democracy (344-317 BC). Litra. circa 339/8-334 BC, 0. 8.31 g. 21.70 mm. Obv. ZEYΣ EΛEYΘEPIOΣ, Laureate head of Zeus Eleutherios left; behind, in the field to right, star of eight rays.
Rev. ΣYPAKOΣIΩN, Triskeles with raised central annulet and pellet.

Very rare and in exceptional condition for the issue, undoubtedly among the finest specimens known. A very interesting coin. Bold strike, green-brown patina with patches of red, some deposits, otherwise good VF.
