Denarius. 47-46 BC, African. 3.89 g. 18.10 mm. 6h
Obv. Diademed head of Venus to right.
Rev. Aeneas advancing to left, carrying palladium and Anchises on shoulder; CAESAR downwards to right.
Crawford 458/1; CRI 55; BMCRR East 31; RSC 12.
A nice specimen, lightly toned, struck slightly off center, a small test cut at three o’clock, otherwise good VF.
