Denarius. April-July 43 BC, Military traveling with Octavian in Cisalpine Gaul. 3.88 g. 17.00 mm. 2sh
Obv. Bare head right, C•CAESAR IMP around.
Rev. Equestrian statue of Octavian left, his right hand raised. S•C below.

Rare and in unusually good condition for this difficult issue. A very nice portrait of the young Octavian. Attractively toned, struck off center, a scratch or mark on obverse under the tone, area of weakness on reverse, otherwise about extremely fine.
