Denarius. circa 21 BC, North Peloponnesian. 3.67 g. 18.00 mm. 7h
Obv. AVGVSTVS, bare head right.
Rev. IOVI OLVM, Hexastyle temple of Zeus at Olympia, seen from front, round shield in pediment and palmettes on roof.
RIC I 472; RSC 182a; BMCRE 666; CBN 939.
A beautiful specimen with an attractive reverse. Lightly toned with some iridescence around the devices. Metal flaws on obverse, otherwise, Extremely Fine.
