Denarius. circa 18 BC, Spanish (Colonia Patricia?). 3.78 g. 18.30 mm. 6h
Obv. CAESARI AVGVSTO, laureate head right.
Rev. The Temple of Mars Ultor: round-domed, hexastyle temple with acroteria set on podium of three steps, an aquila between two signa within; MAR-VLT across fields.
RIC I 105a; RSC 190; BMCRE 373-4 = BMCRR Rome 4419-20; CBN 1202-4.
Lightly toned with golden hues. A banker’s mark on cheek, reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
