Obv. Head of Helios facing slightly right.
Rev. Rose with bud to right; EPMIAΣ above, Z-Ω flanking stem.

This coin imitates the style of the coinage of Rhodes. It was struck in the name of Perseus to pay Rhodian or Cretan mercenaries during the Third Macedonian War (171-168 BC). It seems that the Cretans were familiar with the Rhodian coinage.
