Tetradrachm. Circa 320-310 BC. 16.74 g. 28.00 mm. 12h
Obv. Head of Tanit-Persephone to left, wearing barley wreath, triple-pendant earring and necklace; around, four swimming dolphins.
Rev. Head of horse to right; below neck truncation, 'mhmhnt in Punic characters and behind (= 'People of the Camp'), palm tree.
SNR 56, 167 (O50/R131); SNG Fitzwilliam 1485 (same dies).
An exceptional specimen with a superb portrait of the finest style. Beautifully toned and boldly struck, the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise extremely fine.
